Dewey Russell Klahn

Dewey graduated from Milligan University in east Tennessee. He worked as a chemist in the laboratory for TN Water Quality, Metro Water and Sewer, Environmental Science, Tri-Tech Labs, and Metro Nashville Airport Authority water treatment plant. He was an avid Cubs & Bears fan, loved history - especially the Civil War era, all things trivia, he had a passion for cooking, and was devoted to God and family.

He is by survived by his wife, Ellen; sisters: Debbie Klahn and Diane (Annie) Klemm; children: Wendy (Mark) Ingram, Michelle (John) Hamilton, Daniel (Jennifer) Miller, John (Misty) Klahn, Christy Downey, Andrew (Brittany Boat) Klahn; 11 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by mother (Ida), father (Bill), and adopted sister (Vicki Drummond).

A celebration of life will be held at Grace United Methodist Church in Mt. Juliet on Saturday, May 23rd, at 11:00AM. An hour of visitation will be held right before the service.
