Doris Jeanette Meguiar Pritchett passed away on August 24, 2020 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN, following a short battle with lung cancer. She was born August 7, 1938 in Nashville to her late parents, Charles Douglas Meguiar and Mary Jeanette Carney Meadows. She was a member of Neelys Bend Baptist Church in Madison and played the organ there for over 40 years. She graduated from Isaac Litton High School and later went on to to work for Genesco. Her hobbies included keeping up with Vanderbilt and other Nashville sports teams, working puzzles, playing bingo at Chick-Fil-A with her friends, and spending time her grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Buddy Meguiar, and her brother James W. Meguiar.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, James Ray Pritchett; her daughter, Penny (Keith) Boyd; her son, Larry Pritchett; her grandsons, Garrison (Brittnie) Boyd and Landon (Anna) Boyd; her sister, Louise Meguiar Tucker, and her brother, Chuck Meadows.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Neelys Bend Baptist Church,
