Elmer Clifton Garrett, age 100, of White House, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. Clif was born Friday, February 13, 1925 in Hendersonville, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Darby Garrett; parents, Elmer and Allie Hardaway Garrett; daughters, Brenda Garrett Vaughn, Glenda Garrett Smith; son-in-law, Ron Smith; two sisters and eight brothers.
A member of Goodlettsville First Baptist Church, Clif is a veteran of the US Army serving during WWII in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe.
Clif is survived by his son, Larry Garrett and his wife Sherry; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; bother, Willard Garrett; son-in-law, Don Vaughn.
A visitation for Clif will be held Sunday, September 14, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
A celebration of life will be Monday, September 15, 2025 at 10:00 AM in the chapel at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Nelson Garrett Officiating.
