Emma O Mabry

December 6, 1930 - October 4, 2022

Emma Ophelia Mabry, age 91, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee Saturday, December 6, 1930 to parents John Shumate and Nellie Traughbor and is proceeded by her husband Leland Frank Mabry and son, Jeffrey Leland Mabry.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, dear friend, & child of God. She enjoyed cooking, serving others, gardening, her fur babies, bowling, played softball (Until age 65). games & word search kept her busy along with being a huge fan of baseball. Go Atlanta Braves!!!

She was a Senior Business Machine Operator for R.L. Polk and Company of 10 years.

Mrs. Mabry is survived by seven grandchildren, Chera and Matt Wilbanks, Chase and Mindy Mabry, Malachi Mabry and Amber Clifton, Charlie Huling, as well as, four great grand children Kyndal and Averi Wilbanks, Mason and Joshua Chase Mabry. Also, survived by daughter in law, Cathy Mabry.

Family and friends will gather to remember Mrs. Mabry at a visitation Saturday, October 8, 2022 11:00am to 1:00pm also 1 hour prior to service Sunday Oct. 9, 2022 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 South Dickerson Pike, Goodlettsville, Tennessee.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 2:00pm Sunday, 9th 2022 in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Samuel Pruitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
