WHEATON, Frances Holladay age 99, passed away on December 26, 2011. Preceded in death by her husband, George H. Wheaton, daughter, Libby Claiborne; survived by daughters, Sandra (Rick) Welty, Layna (Danny) McCorkle and son-in-law, Garvin (Beverly) Claiborne; son by choice, John (Faye) Cox, grandchildren, George (Dana) Welty, Kim Welty, Kristy (Anthony) Dye, Kala (Tim) Duncan, Layna (Glenn) Rowlett, Connie (Eric) Dixon, Stan (Juliane) McCorkle and Wilson McCorkle; and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be today 1:00 PM, Hartsville Pike Church of Christ, with visitation from 11:00 – 1:00 at the church.
