Garland Jack Sawyer

He was preceded in death by his step-father and mother, Lester and Thelma Garretson; step-son, Michael E. Kelley. Jack is survived by his wife of 24 years, Evelyn Kelley Sawyer; sons, Tom (Beth), Terry (Jacque) and Ronald (Joy) Sawyer; step-son David Kelley; sister, JoAn (Gene) Feemster; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jack served as a Medic in the U. S. Air Force for 13 years; he retired as computer consultant from Deloitte and Touche; he was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Madison where he loved serving the Lord and the church in several areas. He enjoyed cooking for church gatherings and benefits as well as woodworking from cabinets to making flag cases for fellow church members that were military veterans.

Services will be 12:00 Saturday, February 2, 2013 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be friends and family; honorary pallbearers will be members of his Sunday School class.

Family and friends will gather to remember Jack at a visitation Friday, February 1, 2013 from 3:00 until 8:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 South Dickerson Rd. Goodlettsville, TN
