

He is preceded in death by his parents, Barth George and Anita Sue (Abraham) Solomon.
Glen is survived by his loving wife of fifty-three years, Mary (Goodman) Solomon; daughters, Merianne Buckner (Jason) and Annjanette Solomon Hollis (Donnie); grandchildren, Dalton Wilson, Bailey Berry, Lekse Hoover, Zeke Buckner, and Sadie Buckner; great-grandchildren, Violet Mae Berry, and Cassidy Berry; special family members, Don and Kahne Vaughan, and Jan Vaughan. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
Mr. Solomon served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam conflict. He enjoyed building and driving drag cars in his spare time. He worked as an intercity truck driver for over thirty years. He was an avid gardener who loved sharing his bounty with family, friends, and the community. He wants to be remembered as a beloved son, husband, father, and grandfather.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Robertson County Backpack Attack, 1006 Pepper Street, Springfield, TN 37172.
A visitation for Glen will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072.
