Harry V. “Tino” Carney, age 83, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015. Born in Nashville, TN Friday, June 12, 1931 he is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Lillian Carney; sisters, Imogene Smith and Sue Perry; brothers, Gene, Fred and Phillip Carney.
Mr. Carney is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dorothy Brown Carney; children, Beverly (Emmett) Ray, Debra (Fred) Jones, Harry (Cheryl) Carney, Cynthia (John) Sheehan, Gary (Sondra) Carney; sisters, Mary Jo Cantarutti, Nancy Estey; brother, James “Bucky) Carney; 23 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.
Tino was a retired brick mason; a member of Nashville Observance Masonic Lodge 686; Al Menah Shrine; love his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; he enjoyed camping, bowling, fishing and motor cycle riding.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted 12:00 Wednesday, May 27, 2015 in the chapel of Forest Lawn, Bro. Jack Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
