

He was called into the truth of God in 1969 and taught it to his family for 4 generations.
He retired from the plumber/pipefitter union at age 62, after a loyal 35+ years.
He was the youngest boy of 7 children. He was a family man from the start. He grew up having extended family reunions every year. It was the staple of the Ellithorpe family.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Richard and Catherine Ellithorpe. Three of his brothers, George Ellithorpe, Ira Ellithorpe, and Paul Ellithorpe. His two sisters, Carolyn Hatcher and Elizabeth Maynard and his devoted wife of 60 years, Atha Marina Ellithorpe. He is survived by his older brother Norris (Jean) Ellithorpe. His sons Keith (Candas) Ellithorpe, Kirk (Ronnee Michelle) Ellithorpe and daughter Kimberly (Johnny) Johnson. Also, his grandchildren: Kristin (Gustavo) Corsi, Brandon Ellithorpe, Mitchell Fry Jr., Spencer Ellithorpe, Benjamin Ellithorpe, William Ellithorpe, Chris (Irene) Johnson, Jason Johnson, Taylor (Carissa) Johnson, and Jillian (Philip) Dattilo. And great grandchildren Lucas Corsi, Mateo Corsi, Bianca Corsi, Auburn Dattilo, Hudson Dattilo, Harper Johnson, and Henry Johnson.
He loved his family dearly and was so proud of them all.
Herbert was known for his giving nature. He took care of his precious wife Atha faithfully until he lost her in 2018. He was loyal, kind, funny, & generous all his life.
He will be missed by all who knew him and we look forward to seeing him again in God’s Kingdom.
