Preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Maybelle Virginia Hand Coles; daughter, Tanya R. Boussie; sister, Margaret Watts. Survived by sons, Ralph (Cheryl) Coles and Daryl (Sandy) Coles; sisters, Christine Garton, Katherine (John) Carillon and Virginia Goosetree; brothers, John (Joann) Coles and Dayton (Dale) Coles; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Hiram was a hard worker at Neuhoff Packing Company for 30 years. He was a great provider for his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. His passion was being an Elder at 7th Ave. Church of Christ and Whites Creek Church of Christ.
A Celebration of his life will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Eastland Chapel with Brother Marvin Crouch officiating. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, 2-8 p.m. and Thursday, 11-1 at Eastland Funeral Home.
