Jimmy Joe, Although it's been awhile since we've seen each other it feels like yesterday when I think of you. You, my friend will always have a special place in this heart of mine. I'll always carry those great memories of you. Love you brother, may you RIP.

Way back in the early 1970s, Jim and I operated the little Drive thru branch of Commerce Union Bank behind RIVERGATE Mall.  He and I hand loaded the 20s and a 5 dollar bill into envelopes then stacked them in the back of the Brand New 7-24 machine. The first ATM was a big deal!  We ,two sat out there across from the liquor store and had a great time "being the bank" for so many. That little drive-thru catered to Roy Orbit, among many other famous and not so famous folk. I can see Jim now with his sport coat open, dress shirt top button open and his tie swinging while he carried on with the customers from behind our window. Good memories!  My sympathy and prayers are with the family.

Big Jim we shared some great times together over the years, I will miss those days when we would go out and have a couple of beers. We solved the worlds problems numerous times. Thanks for the great memories see you on the other side my friend.

Friends are a gift from God.  They bring us joy, happiness and help us and lift us up in times of need.  That's why I can truly say how glad I am I had Jim as my friend.  We'll meet again some day dear heart.  We all lose friends.  We lose them in death, to distance, and over time.  The key is to keep them in your heart, and when the time is right, you can pick up the friendship right where you left off.

I have memories in my pocket.
