James Edward ( Ed ) Neal age 80 of Nashville, TN passed away Sunday Nov. 23, 2014. He was born June 27, 1934 to Dillard and Vera Neal. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Jane Etauh Neal, his two daughters Tanya Jones and husband Stephen Jones, Kim Patterson and husband Billy Joe Patterson Sr. and one son Clyde ( Punkin ) Hurt Jr.. He had six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and six great, great grandchildren.
He attendant Porter Heights Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather with a huge heart. He worked hard every day of his life to provide for all of his family doing everything for others and nothing for himself. He loved to sing and dance and he loved a good OLD work truck. He was loved beyond belief and will be greatly missed.
Visitation for James ( Ed ) Neal will be at Eastland Funeral Home 904 Gallatin Road Nashville, TN 37206 on Tues. Nov. 25, 2014 from 4 - 8 pm. The service will on Wed. Nov. 25, 2014 at 11:00 am with the burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery Nash. TN Lebanon Pike at 2:00 pm. All are welcome to attend.
