Jeanette Marie Cantrell

Jeanette Marie Cantrell, age 83, much beloved, passed from life on Monday, June 27, 2016. Born Sunday, February 12, 1933 in Hartsville, Tennessee, she is preceded in death by her parents, Ona Mai and Tifford Wheeler; her husband of 62 years, Edgar Anderson Cantrell.

Before becoming a full-time mother and grandmother, Mrs. Cantrell worked as a sales clerk in department stores.

She is survived by her children, Dianne (Raymond) Barger, Debbie (James) Anderson, Edgar Lance Cantrell, Charles (Brenda) Cantrell, Freda (Tommy) Bennett; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Gladdish, Betty Smith, Margaret Schutt.

A celebration of life will be conducted 2:00 Thursday, June 30, 2016 in the chapel of Forest Lawn with Bro. David Royalty officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers are, Ray Barger, Bryan McGuire, Michael Cantrell, Josh Bennett, Tom Bennett, James Anderson. Honorary are, Matthew Barger, Chris Cantrell, David Barger.

Family and friends will gather to remember Mrs. Cantrell at a visitation Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 3:00 until 8:00 and two hours prior to the service on Thursday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 South Dickerson Road Goodlettsville, TN 37072
