Jerry built a life centered around hard work and family. He was a longtime grocer and proudly owned and operated the IGA Grocery Store in Adairville, Kentucky. He later finished his career in the food concession business, where he continued to do what he loved most: working, planning events, and traveling for business. Jerry had a deep appreciation for his work and took great pride in every detail.
Outside of work, Jerry enjoyed many of life’s pleasures. He was an avid Vanderbilt fan and a dedicated Atlanta Braves fan. He loved to travel, especially to the beach, and took great joy in cruising with his brother-in-law, Charlie, and sister-in-law, Judy. One of his favorite traditions was his annual trip to Tampa, Florida, for the IISA Trade Show.
Above all, Jerry loved his family. He treasured time spent together, especially during family gatherings, and found his greatest joy in those moments. He also held a special place in his heart for his granddog, Buster, who was dearly loved
