Jerry "Scotty" D. Scott

Born to the late John and Bessie (Wilson) Scott, Scotty is also preceded in death by his brothers Donny, Billy "Boots" and Jimmy Scott. He leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years, Patsy; sons Kirk (Cherie), Johnny (Nancy)and Jodie Scott (Allison); (5) granddaughters Chelsea (Tyler), Carli (Johnathan), Sydney (Kevin), Peyton (Nolan), Kendall; a grandson, Carter; (5) great-granddaughters Nora, Ember, Isla, Aurora; a great-grandson, Kannon; many nieces, nephews, other beloved family members and dear friends.

Scotty retired as a metro police officer after many years of protecting and serving Davidson county. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, even playing on the Air Force Baseball league. A longtime, faithful member of Nashville First Church of Nazarene, Scotty was also affiliated with the Masonic Lodge in Goodlettsville and the Don Jones Golf Club.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 3pm -8pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1150 S. Dickerson Pike Rd., Goodlettsville, TN.

Second visitation will be held on Saturday, June 3 from 9:30am - 11am; with a funeral service to begin at 11am, all in the Heritage Chapel at Nashville First Church of Nazarene, 510 Woodland St., Nashville, TN. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 1150 S. Dickerson Pike Rd., Goodlettsville, TN.
