She is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel (Dan) Jacob Callahan and Ruby Hudnall Callahan; brother, Alvin Edward (Dan) Callahan; sister, Gayle Ann Pokomy.
Joan is survived by ex-husband, Henry Hall Jr.; children, Henry Ragan Hall III (Dolores), Deborah Blassl (Don), John Daniel Hall, Candy Lea Parker (Steve) and Dawn Elizabeth Hall- Milam (Max); 9 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
Joan was a dedicated and loving grandmother, mother, wife, sister, mother-in-law and friend, she never met a stranger. Holidays in her home were full of good food, warmth and love. Joan brought love, laughter, and life into the world, and she will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 2pm Sunday, June 12, 2016 at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be held from 12pm until 2pm.
Memorial contributions may be made to Aseracare Hospice or the charity of your choice.
