Joe B. Huffine, age 89, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Mr. Huffine was born Monday, August 11, 1924 in Lebanon, Tennessee he is preceded in death by his parents, Clester and Elma Jenkins Huffine and his wife, Josephine Ogeal Huffine.
A veteran of the US Army, a retired electrician, and a 50 year member of Madison Heights Baptist, he was one never to be seen without his duct tape and a hammer. Although we was a prankster, he was very special and generous.
Mr. Huffine is survived by his daughters, Brenda Irwin and Jackie (Bobby) Gourley; granddaughters, Amy (Mike) Noble, Jill (Shannon) Cole and Beth (Matthew) Shipp; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Jayla Noble, Dylan and Braden Cole.
A celebration of life will be held 2:00 Saturday, February 1, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tim Stutler officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
