Joseph Allen "Joe" Woodlief, age 80, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020. Mr. Woodlief was born Monday, December 4, 1939 in Knoxville, Tennessee and is preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Naomi Bryant Woodlief; his wife, Patricia Martin Woodlief.
Mr. Woodlief was a veteran of the US Army; a brick mason; he enjoyed boxing in his youth; a Tennessee Vols fan, enjoyed Elvis music, a movie buff and most of all he loved the Lord and his family.
Survivors to cherish his memory are his sons, James (Robbin) Woodlief, Brent (Tina) Woodlief; sisters, Nancy (Frank) Branton, Janice (Charles) Provance; brother, Jerry (Mary) Woodlief; grandchildren, Amanda Woodlief, Holly Woodlief, Naomi Woodlief, Amy Woodlief, Bryan (Kayla) Woodlief, Stephen Woodlief, Victoria Woodlief, and Emily Woodlief.
The family will gather to celebrate Mr. Woodlief's life 1:00 Sunday, June 14, 2020 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 S. Dickerson Pike Goodlettsville, Tennessee. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
