Kathy Lynn Knight White

Kathy Lynn Knight White, age 48, finished her race Saturday, November 22, 2014 after a long and hard fought battle with ovarian cancer. Kathy was born Monday, January 24, 1966 in Nashville, Tennessee and joins her father, Robert Knight, at the feet of Jesus.

Kathy was a graduate of Beech High School class of 1984, a finance manager for C&F Finance and member of Connell Memorial United Methodist Church.

A friend to everyone Kathy spread joy and love to all who knew her - great hugs her celebrated trademark. Kathy had a story for any occasion and found the best in people. Her greatest joy and the motivation for her tireless fight was found in her daughters Rachel and Rebecca and loving mother Ruth. She was a delightful daughter, a devoted mother, a loyal friend and a diligent employee. Her love for others and great joy were a constant reminder of both her earthly and heavenly father.

She is survived by her daughters, Rachael White, Rebecca White; their father, Mark White; mother, Ruth Knight; brother, Robert Knight, Jr., Stan (Sharon) Knight; nieces, Karista and Dallas; great nephews, Elijah and Caleb.

A graveside service was held 11:00 Wednesday, November 26, 2014 in Rosedale Cemetery, Pembroke, KY.

Family and friends gathered to remember Kathy at a visitation, Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 5:00 until 8:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Connell Memorial United Methodist Church 113 Church, Goodlettsville, TN with Pastor Paul Gardner officiating. A gathering for fellowship will follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Kathy White Fund at Regions Bank.
