

Kermit S. Davenport age 64, passed away suddenly August 1, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, S C Davenport, and mother, Thelma Bishop Davenport. He is survived by his wife of 44 yrs Linda Parris Davenport, son Nathan (Becky Jane), brothers Alvin (Linda), Kevin (Sandra), and sister Kathy Davenport, grandchildren, Rainey, Talon, and Jacob Davenport. Kermit was a long time member of Long Hollow Baptist Church, Gideon's International, and resident of the Hendersonville/Gallatin area. He was president and CEO of Davenport & Associates, and owner of Race Day Remembered, and Delivery Plus Freight Co.
A Memorial service will be held 2pm Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Long Hollow Baptist Church. Visitation with the family will be held from 10am until 2pm at the church.
