Preceded in death by parents, Albert and Mildred Kirkham West; sister, Peggy West Harper; brother-in-law; Hubert Harris Haile, Jr.
Survived by husband, Wayne L. Savage; sister, Barbara (Harris) Haile, Diane (Jerry) Dorris and Teresa (Randy) Graves; several nieces and nephews who she loved very much.
Lois worked for the State of Tennessee Department of Civil Defense, State Health Department and retired from the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy, serving 37 years.
She was a member of McFerrin Missionary Baptist Church.
A Celebration of Lois's Life will be held 2 pm Friday, August 22, 2014 at Forest Lawn Chapel with Brother Johnny Carver officiating.
Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
Visitation will be 2-8 pm Thursday and 12 pm until service time Friday.
