Makayla Dina’ Eason was born on Monday October 20,2025 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center In Nashville, TN. She departed this world on Thursday March 26, 2026. She was surrounded by her loving family in her final moments. Makayla was the beloved daughter of Paige Esmond and Markeese Eason.
She is survived by: her parents Paige Esmond and Markeese Eason, sisters Dynasti Esmond, Maliah Eason, Kadence Eason, and Sina’ Rolle. Makayla’s grandparents, Garey Sr. (Tammy) Esmond and Sonia Eason. Great grandparents Edmund Buck Sr., and Patricia Eason. Godparents Jamell (Darine) Randall, Aunts and Uncles, Candace Esmond, Garey Esmond jr., Sonya and Tonya Woodson, Alexus Dansby, Brittany Stokes, and Theresa Buck. She also leaves behind a host of cousins, other family and countless others who loved her.
Her circle of love extended beyond family to include special aunts and uncle: Tracie Williams, Kim Blair, Monica Black, Debbie Chapman, Vickie Bellamy, and Joseph Matthews Sr.
Makayla’s memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her. She lived only five short months but her life was filled with so much purpose and love.
