Marcus Eugene Gambrell, Jr., age 74, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017. He was born Wednesday, May 5, 1943 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and is preceded in death by his father, Marcus Eugene Gambrell, Sr.; mother, Christine Robertson Gambrell; sister, Deborah Gambrell.
Mr. Gambrell is survived by his wife, Marilyn Gambrell; sister, Mary Ann (Mike) Cathey; brother, Eddie Gambrell.
Mr. Gambrell was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired railroad engineer.
A celebration of life will be conducted at 10:00 Tuesday, May 23, 2017 in Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery 7931 McCrory Lane Nashville, TN 37221 with Bro. Scott Gillion officiating. Honors will be provided by the United States Air Force.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alive Hospice 1710 Patterson St. Nashville, TN 37203.
