Marion Alys Clemmons passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the age of 78. She was born on Sunday, August 31, 1947, in Nashville, Tennessee, and was a resident of Goodlettsville, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her parents, David Lee and Marion Adelaide Kinle Crain; her husband, John Ewing Clemmons.
She is survived by her daughters, Krista (Stuart) Huffman and Tracey (Jarrod) Smith, her sister Patricia Tipton, and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members. She was a proud and devoted Mimi to her four granddaughters, Presley and Kinley Huffman, and Alyssa and Lydia Smith. Being their Mimi brought her great joy, and they loved her deeply.
Marion worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for more than 40 years, caring for others with dedication and compassion throughout her career. She loved traveling with her family and found great joy in cheering on her granddaughters at their activities and sporting events through the years.
Her family will always remember her for her love, kindness, and the special bond she shared with those closest to her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her family and all who knew her.
Visitation will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Monday, April 6, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. followed by a Celebration of Life 12:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in her honor to Alive Hospice of Nashville or the Alzheimer's Association.
