“On Tuesday, February 21, 2017 – Mary Keith’s battle with cancer came to an end at 9:33pm as she was surrounded by loved ones, and at that moment, she became cancer free for the first time since 2012. She was well-known in the Robertson/Sumner county regions for the now infamous “Fight Like a Girl” motto she so bravely carried forth. She was an inspiration to many, she was a daughter and sister to a few, she was a friend to all and most importantly, she was a chosen child of God through her Lord Jesus Christ. Her life was a model as to what and how the Christian is to suffer and to do as the scripture states “Count it all joy…when you meet trials of various kinds” (James 1:2) because her joy would consume anyone that saw or had their lives touched by her walk with Christ. She truly shined the Light in the darkest places, by her love for God and for others.”
Mary is preceded in death by her grandparents, Billy G. Witty and Wanda Faye Swift Witty.
Survived by her mother, Michelle Keith; father, Jeff Keith (Jennifer); sister, Melody Keith; brothers, Ryan Keith, Andy and Corey Johnson; grandparents, Sheree Keith and Danny Keith; aunts and uncles, Jamie Hale (Blake), Lauree Dorris (James), Jeremy Keith, Jennie Keith (Michael) and Rob Keith (Shelby); several cousins and a host of other family members.
