Mattie Jean Ayers - age 82, passed away Friday, August 16, 2013. Born Tuesday, September 9, 1930 in Carthage, TN to the late Charlie Lane and Lola Mae Ballinger Kelley; she is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Ayers; sister, Elizabeth Reece & grandson, Lonnie Stewart.
Mrs. Ayers is survived by children, Freddie (Sally) Ayers, Glenda (Victor) Woods, Connie Jennings; sister, Lorene Russell; 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 Tuesday August 20, 2013 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Kelley and Bro. David Eubank officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbears are: Kirt Ayers, terry Reece, Mark Russell, Dan Russell, Gerald Kelley, Jeremy Woods.
