Mike was one of my officers on the Gallatin Volunteer Fire Department. He taught me so many great things. I am truly saddened to hear of this. He was a great man and will be greatly missed. Thank you Mike for all your hard work and patience with me and for being such a wonderful and aspiring friend.

I worked with Mike at the Gap for many years..he was alot of fun ! God Bless the Spann Family.

We are truely saddened by Mike's death. Mike was more than just a friend; he was an amazing person. He was always so kind and considerate to us that we always welcomed seeing him at every opportunity.
 
His passing will not only leave a void in our lives, but in the hearts of everyone who knew him. Mike's memory will always remain deep within our hearts.

To my Beloved cousin that will always be in my Life. A lot of Us were so close and this is just a Sad Day for Your family knowing you will not be with us. In the past Year we have lost three family members that now have gone to be with the Lord. You, David and Francis and the rest of our family members are meeting you and each other at the Gates of Heaven and then having a Big OL' party and rejoicing to be with each other. Probably even some Dancing going on. Just don't forget about us down here on this place called Earth and watch over all of us as our guardian Angels. Say Hello to my brother David for me, I miss him as my sibling as your brothers and sisters will miss you. You were Dear to all of us and you not only had a huge family you had a huge family of friends that will miss you as well. You left us to soon just as David did but we are not promised tomorrow.  The Lord took you peacefully and sudden and we are all sadden but will meet you soon when He is ready for Us to join you and the rest of the family.  Your Life was a gift to me and their are just so many Memories that will never be forgotten. The Next few Days and Months that go by we all will have that ache in our Hearts that you are gone. I still have that ache for David but I know you all are better off where you are, The Lord wanted you for a job to do, we don't know why, but he picked two of the best men to do the job he wants done.
