

Nadina (Dena) Mae Williams passed away peacefully on 3/1/2026 in Medina, TN. Dena was born in Memphis, TN on 05/02/1936 to Frank and Nadine McDougall. She lived much of her life in Nashville, Tennessee.
Dena lived a life filled with devotion to her faith, family and helping others. She was most proud of her work as a teaching assistant for special needs children as well as her time volunteering to help with the Special Olympics in Nashville and her time as an ombudsman for the elderly.
She will be remembered by her family as a strong and independent woman with an unwavering willingness to help anyone in need. She had an enormous heart and loved her family dearly, especially her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Dena/Mom/MeMe will be greatly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Arthur Williams and her daughter Debby Kinary. She is survived by her sons Clint Houston, Dean Houston (Lisa) and blended family children Melony Goodhand (Bob), Shan Williams (Beth), Whitney Sharp (John), Ruth Barron (David); grandchildren Andy Houston, Hailey Houston, Corey Houston (Amanda), Casey Cook (Kayla), Cody Cook (Stephanie), Ashley Houston (Jon), Benjamin Houston (Alicia), Justin Criswell (Kelly), Ryan Williams, Michael Williams, Eli Williams, Arianna Goodhand, Eli Sharp, Zach Sharp, Simeon Sharp, Dylan Barron, Kendall Barron; great-grandchildren Jacob, Lexie, Lilly, Casey Jr., Blake, Ruth, Kiari, Ben Jr., Cora, Shelby, Maxwell, Abby, and Mason.
