Opal Beatrice Taylor Hudson, 90, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2015. She was born Tuesday, October 13, 1925 in Etowah, TN and is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Felix Harvey Hudson; parents, Joseph Letcher and Hattie Stillwell Taylor; sisters, Mildred “Tubby” Taylor, Inez (Buster) Boguskie, Pansy (Cordell) Sircy.
Mrs. Hudson is survived by daughters, Gaye Hudson and Deborah (Steve) Mauldin; grandchildren, Eric Mauldin, Lisa (Ty) Crowder; great-grandsons, Tate Michael and Samuel Harvey Crowder.
Mrs. Hudson attended Cumberland High School in Bordeaux and retired from Cain-Sloan Co. as a master tailor in men’s alterations.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Elmcroft of Hendersonville and Adoration Hospice.

A celebration of life will be conducted 12:00 Wednesday, December 16, 2015 in the chapel of Forest Lawn with Bro. Lonnie Gable officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are Eric Mauldin, Ty Crowder, Denny Boguskie, Toby Sircy, Kevin Akin, Steve Mauldin
Family and friends will gather to remember Mrs. Hudson at a visitation today, Tuesday, December 15, 2015 from 5:00 until 8:00.
