Patricia Ann Maynard, age 78 passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025. Patricia was born Monday February 3, 1947 in Knoxville, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Mattie Shooks Knight; sons, Jimmy Maynard and Gearl Maynard, Jr.
Retired from Metro Public Schools and she is survived by her husband of 58 years Gearl Maynard; daughters, Melanie (Bobby) Kinslow, Joan (Carlos) Risby; grandchildren, Bobby, Ashley, Alicia, Candace, Hadiya, Gabrielle, Maleah and 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Larry Knight and Steve Knight.
A visitation for Patricia will be held Monday, March 31, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072 followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 PM.
Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Garden of Devotion II.
