Known as Patsy as a child, Faith began using her middle name as an adult because it was so meaningful to her. She was a woman of faith and was devoted to prayer. In later years, she was known to many simply as Nanny.
Faith was born in Salina, Kansas on February 25, 1933 and attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago where she met her husband, Charles. Charles was ordained after completing his studies at Moody and together they served churches in Kansas, Illinois, Indiana, California, Virginia and North Carolina for over 40 years. They enjoyed retirement in Scottsdale, Arizona having fun with her aunt, uncle and cousins. Beginning in 2012, Faith lived in Virginia and Maryland with her daughter Susan, and had moved to Tennessee in October 2025 to live with daughter Elisabeth. Faith loved to read, spend time with God, take good care of her house and herself, and loved her dogs. She especially loved her six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Faith is survived by her daughters Susan Grubbs and Elisabeth Radovsky (Michael) and her grandchildren Jessica Lough (Adam), Avery Drost (Alyson), Claire Fedele (Michael), Eben Drost, Harrison Drost, and Madeleine Rettke (Tyler), all of whom she was so proud of. She is also survived by her brother Steve Peterson, her sisters Deborah Daffron and Rebecca Watson (Norm) and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, her son Tod, and her son-in-law Jack.
Faith’s life will be celebrated at Church of the Resurrection, 11525 Greenspring Ave, Lutherville, MD 21093 at 11 am on January 3, 2026 and at a family gathering in Tennessee in February.
