

On May 6, 1945 Pauline married Richard “White” Hendrixson and were happily married until his death on August 11, 1984. Together Pauline and White raised two children, Robert Wayne and Pamela.
In 1999 Pauline married Francis Jay Payne who was a wonderful husband and stepfather until his death in 2008.
Pauline worked at Nashville Memorial Hospital as a seamstress for 20 years, until her retirement in 1994. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church and once she was no longer able to drive, she was a faithful watcher of TV ministry. She loved Jesus and praised God always for her long life and what HE had gotten her through. She loved her family, friends, flowers, trinkets, country and gospel music, (especially when Jay sang “Long Black Train”), cooking, baking, housekeeping, doing for others and Christmas with all the decorations.
She would not hesitate to tell you the Good Lord brought her through a lot and she thanked Him for it. She was a true redhead and very proud of it. She loved to look pretty, a perfectly done hairdo was a must, her jewelry, lipstick, her Musk oil perfume, and her surroundings kept very neat.
Pauline is preceded in death by her parents, her sister,Druecilla, her brother Ray Donald, her husbands White and Jay and her grandson Dustin Maynard.
She is survived by her son Robert Wayne (Lynne) Hendrixson; daughter Pamela Maynard (David) Lewis; stepchildren Patricia, Randy, Dennis, Brenda, Angie and Bo; grandchildren Robert Wyatt (Monte) Hendrixson, April Myers, Kristopher (Linda) Maynard; great grandchildren, Kysa,Tyler, Bryson, Presleigh, Rachel, Stormi, Serenity, Liam, Carrie, Damion, Destiny, Bethany, Karlee, and Stella, and great great grandchildren Jordan, MacKenzie, Zayden, Abram, Kinlee, Gunner and Maddex.
