Peggy Joyce Hardwick

Peggy Joyce Hardwick, of Hendersonville, passed away Friday morning, January 24, 2014 at the age of 78. She was born November 2, 1935 in Beacon, Tennessee to the Rev. L.H. & Nina Benson. She lived her adult life in Nashville, raising her family while working tirelessly at the church she loved. She worked at Nashville Electric Service for 33 years, retiring in 2001. After retiring, she took care of mom and dad, and after their passing, she moved to Hendersonville making new friends and loving on her grandkids and great-grandkids. Visitation will be at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Saturday, 5:00-8:00 pm. A Celebration of Life service will be at 3:00 pm, Sunday, at Point of Mercy Church, 1060 E. Trinity Lane, Nashville, TN 37216.

Preceded in death by her parents, Rev. & Nina Benson. Survived by sons, Barry (Yvonne) Hardwick, Greg (Renee) Hardwick; grandchildren, Brad (Kim) Wilson, Christopher (Amber) Hardwick, Andrew (Joni) Hardwick, Kelsey Hardwick, Cameron Hardwick; great-grandchildren, katelyn McConigle, Jacob, Ava, and Luke Wilson, Alonna and Addelynn Hardwick; brother, James (Judy) Benson; nieces, Kelly (Mark) Younce, Kristy (Matt) Garrett. Pallbearers are Brad Wilson, Christopher Hardwick, Andrew Hardwick, Cameron Hardwick, Matt Garrett, and Koby Younce. Honorary Pallbearers are Kyle and Kasey Garrett.
