Diane Scott, 68, of Nashville, TN was born Friday, September 5, 1947. She passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas E. Fortner and Sadie E. Fortner; her brother, Don Fortner.
Diane loved spending time with her husband Melvin. She enjoyed reading, sketching, painting and cooking.
She is survived by her husband Melvin; children, Kristie (husband Jeff) Irvin, Donnie (wife Barbara) Scott, Wendy Scott; brothers, Tommy Fortner, Dudley Fortner and four grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in the chapel at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Jones officiating.
Family and friends will gather to remember Diane at a visitation Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 4:00 pm-8:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 South Dickerson Rd. Goodlettsville, TN
