

Ravi K. Cherian was born on 21st April 1953 in Satna, MH, India and passed away on 5th September 2012 in Nashville, TN, USA. He was diagnosed with cancer on his birthday and endured and battled it through 5 months with his family at his side till the very end – He was 59 years old and is survived by his immediate family members; his best friend and love of his life, his wife Laila Cherian, son Rohan Cherian and daughter and son-in-law Ritu & Mathew Joseph and his 2 grand daughters who were the joy of his last days – Leah Joseph (6) & Enya Joseph (2). He came from a large, strong and close-knit family with strong values from Kerala, India. Ravi is also survived by his extended family of 5 adoring siblings and their families.
He was an intelligent soul and a quiet man in his successes, pain and trials. He walked this life with grace, honour and integrity. He worked long and hard till his last days as a Manager, was passionate about business and was a true entrepreneur. He imparted the best of himself into his children, family, friends and co-workers alike. He was distinctively kind, had an ocean of patience and a mentor to many. He never spoke ill of anyone and had such a positive outlook on life no matter how difficult the situation. He was close to God and knew the Lord well and in his last days walked with him and his angels. Ravi was a true family man and spent all his free time with every one of his family members, travelling and visiting them.
Ravi was an avid reader, great conversationalist and one of the most interesting, well-informed individuals who had such a strong social network worldwide. He loved movies, music, science and technology and like all guys – his electronics.
He is resting in a better place now and will be forever remembered and missed for his presence, his beautiful smile and the love and devotion he gave everyone.
Visiatation with the family is from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. September 8, 2012 at the families home, with the Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens 1150 Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, Tennessee 37072
