Richard “Carding” Cierte Andal, age 89, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019, in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born in San Juan Batangas, Philippines on November 17, 1930 to the late Mateo and Gavina C. Andal.
Dr. Richard Andal was former head of the Dental Department of then Manila Sanitarium and Hospital, now known as Manila Adventist Medical Center, in Pasay City, Philippines. The family immigrated to Madison, Tennessee USA in 1971.
Dr. Andal was preceded in death by his wife, Eriberta “Beth”, he is survived by all of their four children: Ricardo II “Ric,” Julie Beth Andal Hipps, Mayveline Andal Brock and Ricardo III; grandchildren Nicholas, Lauren, Tyler and Philippe. One great grandson, Orren.
Visitation from 11 am to 1 pm, Wednesday, January 1, 2020. Chapel service starts at 1 pm and grave site service at 1:30 pm at Forrest Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
