Robert Eugene Medley

Robert Eugene Medley (Bobby), a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away peacefully on Monday, June 9th, 2025 at St. Thomas MidTown Hospital. Bobby was born on August 16th , 1944 (80) in Nashville, TN.

Bobby was a devoted husband to Linda F. Medley who predeceased him in 2008 after 44 years of marriage.

He is survived by his loving family, including his children, Robert T. Medley (Nancy) and Martin E. Medley (Chloe). His granddaughter Rachel H. Medley (Rhen Reeves) and his sisters Judy Short and Wendy Dever (Brian).

Bobby is predeceased by his parents Cliff and Evie Ensey and his brother David Medley.

Bobby’s lifetime career was a Truck Driver and his last employer was Hertz Equipment Rental which he retired from in 2008.

He loved watching WWE Wrestling every Saturday night. He enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley, going to car shows and tinkering with his 1981 Chevrolet Malibu.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 12th, 2025 at 2pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and his memory will live on in our hearts.
