He graduated from East Nashville Highschool in 1962. Doug was a Millwright Craftsman with Dupont for 35+ years. He was an enthusiastic family man that enjoyed a good game of golf, any competitive board game, and was a notorious card shark.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Peggy Ozanne Stafford, his son and daughter-in-law Shane(D’Ann) Stafford, his stepson & daughter-in-law Tim(Sharon) Pike, his stepson Tommy Pike, grandchildren Brittanye Schexnayder, Lindsey(Jon) Camp, Tanner(Destiny) Jordan, Trace Jordan, and Skylar Jordan, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 10, 2022, at 2pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1150 Dickerson Rd, Goodlettsville, TN 37072. Visitation will be the same day from 12-2pm.
