Ruby Nell Anderson age 92 of Goodlettsville, TN passed away February 2, 2017. Ruby was born in Cannon County to George Elam Reed and Mary Emily (Emmer) Reed. She graduated from Auburn High School in 1943. Ruby worked in the Ladies Alteration Department at Cain Sloan for 18 years and retired from Castner Knott after 16 years. She was a member of Joelton Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph C. Anderson; sister, Reatha Sherrill.
Survived by her son, Philip Curtis Anderson; sister, Georgia Bogle (Franklin); grandchildren, Tina Osborne (Dan), Curt Anderson and Diane Anderson (Ty Estes); 4 great-grandchildren, Trent Anderson, Ian Anderson, Dominic Osborne and Gabriella Osborne; many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be held from 1pm until 5pm Saturday, February 4, 2017 and from 12pm until 1pm Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with a service to follow at 1pm with Bro, Herb Alsup officiating.
