Shirley Ann Bowden

Age 53, of Chapmansboro, TN., passed away on May 14, 2015.

Preceded in death by her mother, Florence Bowden; her father, Lemuel Bowden, Sr., her brothers, Lawrence Bowden and Steven Bowden; her sisters, Sue Earls and Connie Spivey; and her step-daughter, Alicia Cowan.

Survived by her spouse, Ralph Cowan, Jr. and four children, Eugenia (Israel) Orrego of Chapmansboro, TN, Luther Bowden of Red Boiling Springs, TN, Timmy Hallum, Jr. of Lafayette, TN, and Jeremy Cowan of Nashville, TN. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Brandon Orrego, Jose Orrego, Lukas Bowden, Bruce Bowden, Blake Bowden, Kayla Cowan, and Jaycie Cowan; brothers, Lemuel Bowden, Jr. of Madison, Leslie Bowden of Nashville, TN, and Billy Bowden of Clarksville, TN; and sister, Linda Proctor of Clarksville, TN.

Shirley was a woman who loved God and her family very much. She donated to different churches and was a faithful donator to St. Judes Children's Hospital. She would help anyone she could if she was able too. Her grandchildren and family were her pride and joy.

The family will gather with friends to celebrate her life on Wednesday, May 20th, 2015 from 10 am up until the time of service at 2 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
