Stuart Henry Edwards

Stuart Henry Edwards, aged 92, passed away on December 22, 2025. He was a resident of Gallatin, Tennessee. Born on May 9, 1933, in Monticello, Iowa, to George and Rosa Berner Edwards, Stuart was a graduate of Baldwin High School.

Mr. Edwards served in the Air Force from 1953 to 1957, when he was honorably discharged. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Arvena; brothers, Arthur and Ralph Edwards; and a son, Rick Diggs. He is survived by his four daughters, Mira Wooten of Vacaville, CA; Kay Diggs of Gallatin, TN; Patty (Rick) Taylor of Hartsville; and Pam (Quinton) Smalling of Gallatin. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Nate (Zan) Wooten, Amanda (Ronnie) Easley, Wesley (Katie) Taylor, Jeff Smalling, and Kaitlin (Harrison) Logan; and great-grandchildren, Knox and Nora Taylor, Ella and Demi Logan, and Winter and Delilah Wooten.

Mr. Edwards enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, relaxing on the lake, and playing cards. He also had a passion for listening to live music.

A Visitation will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, located at 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN, on December 26, 2025, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. His service will follow at the same venue at 2:00 pm.
