CARSON, JR., Wallace Age 87 of Nashville, went to be with the Lord, January 25, 2012. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Patricia “Patty” Carson. Survived by daughters, Patricia “Bonnie” (David) Clark & Linda Gail (Clark) Bond; son, Wally (Terri) Carson; grandchildren, Stephanie, Wally, Jr., Ben, Brad, Chuck & Josh; 3 great-grandchildren. Wallace was a loving husband & dad. He loved his family & was a man of few words. He worked for Mapco Oil for over 35 years, was a deacon of Edgefield Baptist Church & graduated from the class of 1944, Franklin High School. A celebration of his life will be held 10 a.m. Monday, January 30, 2012 with David Clark officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons at Edgefield Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to Gideon’s International. Interment to follow at Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens.
