CHERRY, Willie Dean Grimsley, age 95 passed away on June 16, 2012 in Madison, TN. Preceded in death by husband, Willie T. Cherry; parents, Martha Ellen Clark and George Virgil Grimsley; brother, Cleston Grimsley; sisters, Edna Daniel Hogan, Clara McCluskey Dulworth, Ina Ruth Smith; survived by daughters and their husbands, Betty (Richard) Odom and Martha (Billy) Gaines; granddaughter, Ronica (Joe) Chichelo; grandsons, Blake (Jackie) Chancey, Von (Lisa) Gaines; great-grandchildren, Zack Chichelo, Zoe Chichelo, Savannah Gaines and Annabella Chancey; numerous nieces and nephews; lifelong friends, Juanita Carr and Doris Sutton. Honorary pallbearers: Members of Bobby Hudson’s Sunday School Class, Madison Church of Christ; family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alive Hospice or Church of Christ Disaster Relief Fund. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, June 20 at 2:00 pm, with visitation Tuesday from 5:00 – 8:00, and one hour prior to service at Forest Lawn.
