The family of Zane L. Gorsline sadly announces his passing on September 13th, 2025 at the age of 75. Born on the 6th day, 4th month of 1950. Zane Lived a life of love to his family and friends.
Zane proudly served his country in the military, carrying with him a deep sense of honor, duty and loyalty throughout his life. Known for his kind heart and steady spirit, he was the type of man who gave freely without expecting anything in return.
A lover of the outdoors, Zane found joy in the simple but profound rhythms of nature. He was a fisherman at heart, a “worm man” and a “wood man” by trade and passion. Someone who could always be found with his hands busy and his heart full of the beauty of God’s creation, Zane also displayed this gift through his drawings of water, land and nature. His art reflected the same appreciation for God’s world that he shared with those around him.
Above all else, Zane’s greatest pride and joy were his children and grandchildren. He poured endless love into his family guiding them with patience, wisdom and warmth. His giving nature and unconditional love will live on in their hearts forever.
Zane will be remembered as a man of strength, gentleness, and generosity. A man who gave more than he took and left behind the legacy of love.
He is survived by his beloved children, grandchildren and extended family, who will continue to honor his memory by living out the values he left behind, Love, kindness and gratitude.
Though he has gone from this earth, Zane’s spirit remains in every story told, every lesson learned, and every smile shared in his name. We take comfort in knowing he is now in heaven, at peace in the eternal care of our Lord.
