Ms. Brenda Joy Frable, Age 70, of Goodyear, Arizona, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, on June 15, 2025, in Goodyear. She was born February 11, 1955, in Latrobe, Pennsylvania to Robert Frable and Theda Shawley.
Brenda resided in Youngstown, PA, until the early age of nine when her family moved to Pasadena, CA. She lived in Duarte, CA, for most of her life until moving to Goodyear, AZ.
Brenda attended James Madison Elementary School and graduated from Arcadia High School.
At Western Integrated Materials Brenda worked on the inside sales order desk for nearly 34 years from which she retired in 2021. Over the years, through her expertise, she earned the trust and respect of her many loyal customers, some who became close friends and who would only place orders with her.
She said her greatest blessing was having her beautiful daughter Heidi and two wonderful grandchildren come into her life.
Brenda enjoyed living a quiet life at home with her many “furry friends.” She surrounded herself at home with joyful and whimsical keepsakes.
Brenda had the softest heart for any animal in need of help, caring for many strays who happened to appear on her doorstep. She especially loved elephants for their intelligence, loving social traits and exceptional memories. It broke her heart that they are still an endangered species and wanted to save every one of them.
Later in life, with a lot of nudging from her family, she came to love traveling. Visiting France, England, Switzerland, Italy, Scotland and her favorite - Ireland.
She loved reading - her favorite book and movie of all time was Gone with the Wind. She got a kick out of playing records from the 50’s and 60’s on her little 45 record player, dancing around the room to the oldies.
She is survived by her daughter, Heidi Turk; sisters, Melanie Jacobs and Gloria Almanza; brother-in-law, Charles Almanza; granddaughter, Lauren Santos; grandson, Ryan Turk; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and great- great niece and nephew.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Frable; mother, Theda Kenrich and sister, Dianne Hayes.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Quiet Cannon Montebello in Montebello, California on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Private family interment will take place at Rose Hills in Whittier, California.
The family suggests that donations be made to any Pet or Elephant Rescue Organization.
The family would like to thank everyone for their kindness, sympathy and prayers.
