Wade was born on November 10th, 1966, to Elden and Colette Fackrell in Provo, UT. He was the second born child but firstborn son. He was an amazing brother to his older sister and his two younger brothers. He lived an eventful life. As a young child he loved riding horses. He grew up participating in 4-H, attended Springville High school where he enjoyed high school rodeo and was a healer in the team roping division. He was a member of the FFA and generously donated his time in sub for santa and other various projects. He graduated high school in 1985. He was a member of the Hobble Creek Riding Club. He went on to train reining horses. His favorite horse was Diego, Wade trained him himself.
He Married Anna Kaye Huff, His high school sweetheart in 1985. They had three daughters: Kayci, Tailer and Lexi. They lived in Lakeshore, Utah from 1989-1992, they then moved to Lehi, Utah. He started his career working for Swift Transportation in 1988 where he stayed for nearly 30 years. In June of 2017 He went to work for Road Master Group and continued to work there until he passed away. He was very respected and admired in his multiple positions during his time at Swift and RMG.
He later divorced Anna Kaye and Met Jennifer Okerlund, while working at Swift. Wade and Jennifer were married in August, 1999. He happily welcomed Jennifer and her two children Sierra and TJ into his family. He moved to Arizona for his job and resided there for over 20 years. Wade and Jennifer were happily married until Jennifer passed away in January, 2023. He had multiple hobbies that included watching baseball. The Dodgers were his favorite team. Watching the horse races, Trap shooting, Hunting, Riding his bike, collecting guns, welding, fishing, and spoiling his dog Piper, and going on side-by-side rides. He was an excellent cook and loved to smoke various types of meat. He even played in a movie called “Black Hawk Indian Wars”. He looked forward to his yearly boy’s trip with all of his best friends out to the desert. He was a great friend. He would always tell you the truth even if you didn't want to hear it. If he was hard on you, he saw potential in you. He was fast and efficient in every aspect of his life. His quality of work was nearly unbeatable. He never halfway did anything. It was all or nothing. He called it like he saw it and he even had his own trademark eyebrow. You could call him anytime; night or day, and he’d always have time for you.
His last couple of years his health put him through many struggles. He defied death twice and was on the transplant list to receive a new kidney. His 3 daughters were all a match and were in the process of giving him a kidney. He was so tuff and stubborn, you would never even know he was sick. He was humble, kind and honest and he never complained. He was an outstanding Father, Husband and Grandpa. He passed away peacefully on April 23rd, with his daughters Kayci and Tailer, by his side.
