Isaac Matthew Woods, a beloved, faithful, generous, and kind-hearted young man, passed away on January 9, 2026, at the age of 18. Born on July 24, 2007, in Avondale, AZ, Isaac was the cherished son of Matthew and Nicole Woods. He resided in Goodyear, Arizona, where he touched the lives of many with his faith, compassion, humor, and warmth.
Isaac was a student at Odyssey Institute and a dedicated employee of Quick trip. He had plans to become a missionary after graduating high school, a testament to his deep faith and desire to serve others. His extreme love and passion for the Packers was matched only by the love he held for his family, friends, and faith.
A devoted follower of God, Isaac spent much of his time at Compass Church, where he was actively involved in running the lights and immersing himself in the youth ministry. He was known for being a friend to all, a little brother who loved adventure, an older brother deeply dedicated to his sister, and a son who loved his parents very much.
Isaac is survived by his parents, Matthew and Nicole Woods; his sister, Emma Woods; and his brothers, Caleb and David Cajthaml. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Jill Woods and Laura Tolifson. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lyle Tolifson.
A funeral service will be held at Compass Church, located at 16060 W Van Buren St., Goodyear, AZ 85338, on January 19, 2026, at 10:30 am.
