It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jessie Palacio, 64, on December 11, 2024. Jessie was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, a dedicated professional, and a cherished member of her community.
Jessie worked for over 40 years at Gateway Community College, where she made a lasting impact on both colleagues and students. Her unwavering dedication to education and service was evident in every aspect of her life. She was known for her kindness, work ethic, and the warm relationships she fostered with those around her.
Born and raised with a strong sense of family, Jessie is survived by her siblings: Jaime Palacio, Sandy Silva, Frank (Esther) Palacio and Angie Palacio. She was preceded in death by, Pascual Palacio (Father), Daria Palacio (Mother), Eloisa Palacio (Sister), Brian Palacio (Nephew). Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of her knowing her.
She will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace.
A Visitation for Jessie will be held Friday, January 3, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd., Goodyear, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM.
