Robert Fono, age 88, of Goodyear, Arizona passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. Robert was born in Budapest, Hungary. He was an amazing and loving Father of Marjorie (David) Gibson and David (Linda) Fono. Brother-in-law of Judith (the late Joseph) Balint. Cherished Grandfather of Megan (Jessica) Gibson, Tori (Erik) Petersen, Timothy (Melissa) Latona and Christina Miko. Adoring Great Grandfather of Andrew and Agustus Gibson, Brynn, Broxxton, Brooklynn Petersen; Brandon, Alexa, Jaiden, Brady, Addison, Colton and Leighton. Fond Great-Great-Grandfather of Greyson, Kaia, Koda, Isabel and Ritchie, Jr. Caring Uncle of Peter (Mia) Balint, Judy (Paul) Balint and Steven (the late Karen) Haydu. Great Uncle of Jason Ainsworth and Alexander Haydu. Preceded in death by his soul mate Susan Fono. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
