
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rose Marie Romano, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, who left us on December 11, 2024, at the age of 92. Rose Marie was born on December 5, 1932, in New York, the daughter of Harry and Rose and sister to Virginia and Alice .
In 1955, Rose Marie married the love of her life, Lawrence J. Romano, with whom she shared 69 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and unwavering companionship. Together, they raised five children. Her legacy lives on through her 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, all of whom she cherished deeply.
Rose Marie led a rich and full life, both professionally and in service to her community. In addition to being a dedicated wife and mother, she had a distinguished career as a model and trainer for Vidal Sassoon, where her grace and expertise inspired many. Throughout her life, she was passionate about giving back and devoted countless hours to volunteer work. She was an active member of the American Heart Association, participated in various fundraising efforts, and mentored at-risk youth. Her selfless dedication was recognized when she was named Volunteer of the Year for her work with MGA ?? and at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington, Texas, where she and Lawrence made their home after retiring.
After retiring, Rose Marie and Lawrence traveled extensively throughout North America and the Caribbean, creating lifelong memories on various cruises. Rose Marie’s zest for life, her kindness, and her deep love for her family will be greatly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Services to celebrate her life will be held on December 27, 2024, at Thompson's Funeral Chapel in Goodyear, Arizona.
Rose Marie’s legacy is one of love, compassion, and service, and while she is no longer with us, her spirit and memory will forever remain in our hearts
